USA Organic Study Tour

Details: For the past six months the Organic Dairy and Pastoral Group has been collaborating with the Organic Exporters Association of New Zealand, and with five other organic organisations in three countries, to bring to you for the first time, a US organic farm and study tour. This tour is tailored to New Zealand and Australian based organic dairy and beef farmers and others associated with the organic trade.

 

The tour is supported in Australia by the Organic Dairy Farmers of Australia and in the US by Stonyfield Farms and CROPP Cooperative.  Marketing through their brands, Organic Valley and Organic Prairie the CROPP Cooperative is the largest organic dairy cooperative in the world. They have over 1,600 farmer members in 34 US states and in Canada.

We fully endorse this tour and hope you consider this one off event for your once in a lifetime organic tour.  It's been said that it only takes one good idea for a farmer, grower or exporter to improve operations to make more money or to save time and energy. This tour offers access to many organic farms and organic facilities that are not open to the public and access for this group is permitted by the generous hospitality of our affiliates. The objective is to foster growth in the supply of organic dairy and beef products from all three countries for export trade to markets around the world.
